Who we are…

Welcome to a world where wagging tails are the stars of the show and we are working to provide a Bark of Hope!

Our organization is working to become established and active in early 2025. We plan to be established as an “All-Volunteer” and “Foster-Based” animal rescue located in McDonough, Georgia. We will serve communities in our home county of Henry, as well as Newton, Butts, and Rockdale counties.  As our rescue continues to grow in the future, we hope to reach even more local communities and surrounding counties. We will be a completely donation-based organization and rescue, so our small group of board/staff/volunteers receive no compensation for their time or efforts, to ensure that every donation goes fully into supporting our mission to result in having an even greater impact for our animals and local communities.

We are actively working on finalizing our different applications for obtaining our licensures right now with the state of Georgia. We are also currently, patiently waiting for our final determination letter to securing our 501c3 status, so that our rescue will be recognized as a non-profit organization as well. Once all of this is in place, we will then be fully vetted and licensed by our state, and able to start working and serving our local animal and community needs.

Initially, as a “foster-based” animal rescue, we will not have an actual physical facility, for the time being.

Our website is under construction, but we will be back here to tell you more about us soon!
